Matt Kaiser Teaches CLE Webinar on Multijurisdictional Practice with the American Bar Association
On September 16th, Kaiser Partner Matt Kaiser will speak on a webinar panel with the American Bar Association titled The Parameters of Multijurisdictional Practice: How to Ethically Practice Across State Lines. As a member of the panel, Matt will join panelists Deepika Hamsini Ravi of HWG LLP and Tyler Maulsby of Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz PC to discuss Model Rule 5.5 and its prohibition on the unauthorized practice of law. The panelists, including Matt, will review the foundation of the rule and the future of multijurisdictional practice, including questions that have arisen as a result of an increase in remote work and the future of the practice of law while remote.
Matt is a frequent speaker about legal ethics and frequently advises lawyers, law firms, and nonprofit organizations on compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct.
