Kaiser PLLC Recognized as Platinum-Level Donor in 2024 Raising the Bar in D.C. Campaign
Kaiser PLLC is honored to be recognized by the D.C. Access to Justice Commission as a Platinum-Level donor in the 2024 Raising the Bar in D.C. Campaign. The firm joins a distinguished group of 34 law firms that collectively contributed more than $5.6million to D.C. legal services organizations last year, providing vital support to District residents facing urgent legal challenges.
The Raising the Bar in D.C. Campaign, launched by the Commission in 2010, encourages private law firms to support local legal service providers by contributing a benchmark percentage of their D.C. office revenue. Platinum recognition, the highest tier, is awarded to firms contributing at least 0.11% of their local office revenue to civil legal aid.
“At Kaiser, we believe that everyone should have access to legal representation,” said Bill Pittard, Managing Partner. “We are proud to support the essential work of the legal services organizations that protect housing, safety, and economic stability for thousands of our neighbors. This recognition underscores our firm’s commitment to justice and to the D.C. community.”
The funds contributed through this campaign help legal aid organizations meet rising demand for their services, particularly as more D.C. residents confront issues like housing instability, domestic violence, and consumer fraud. With increasing operational costs, sustained private-sector support remains a vital component in bridging the justice gap.
